ACE Air & Ambulance was founded in 2015, and in a few years, has experienced exponential growth in response to the increased demand for our services. Zimbabwe is well positioned to service all of southern Africa, as we are surrounded by Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Angola, Botswana, the DRC and South Africa. At inception, ACE’s intention was to provide an aeromedical service that could be benchmarked against the best in the world.
Our mission at ACE Air & Ambulance (Pvt) Ltd
is to provide a rapid advanced air and road ambulance response service for a full spectrum of medical and trauma related emergencies, both locally and internationally. Ultimately, we aim to save lives quickly and safely. We strive to be an international icon of quality, standards and accountability in the medical health care industry in southern Africa.
ACE Air & Ambulance (Pvt) Ltd is an internationally accredited air ambulance operator with multiple bases throughout Zimbabwe that specialises in emergency evacuation, remote rescue and recovery. The extensive ACE ﬂeet consists of carefully selected and equipped Beechcraft King Airs, helicopters and road ambulances. With such a comprehensive ﬂeet, ACE has quick and direct access to southern Africa’s most remote tourism, safari and mining destinations.
We draw on the local population for our expertise crew and specialised teams, creating new jobs opportunities in Zimbabwe, where the unemployment
rate is currently 90 percent. In 2015,
we established an internationally accredited training school that trains professionals and non-professionals which to date has trained over 14,000 people.
In just four short years we have become a leading emergency medical rescue service with an extensive fleet of road and air ambulances and specially dedicated rescue helicopters that can now offer a unique remote emergency rescue service to members nationwide.
At ACE we constantly strive to better ourselves and our services and, as such,
we have received international recognition
ACE is accredited with EURAMI (European Aero Medical Institute) as an internationally recognised provider of Regional Fixed Wing Transportation for Adult Critical Care. ACE initially achieved this accreditation in 2016, being the first company in Zimbabwe and just the third operator in Africa to meet these stringent international air ambulance quality standards.
ACE is an accredited member of the International Assistance Group (IAG) for provision of air and road ambulance services and medical case management. IAG membership is strictly limited to those medical service providers worldwide who provide the highest quality of service and holds enormous prestige in the medical services industry.
