Air Ambulances

We have 3 Beechcraft King Air Aircraft at our disposal.The King Air 200 being our ICU permanently configured craft that is suited to land at airstrips where most other jets cannot land. We have well managed quality control and safety management systems governing the operations of our air ambulances, under the regulatory authority of the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe. Our aircraft are supplied by Halsted’s Aviation Corporation (HAC), who have been operating since 2006, based at Harare International Airport. Our shareholders are the same in both companies, thereby ensuring accountability and transparency throughout.

Medical Staff

We employ experienced and qualified staff, including ICU nurses, Paediatric ICU nurses, Traumatologists, Military Combat Trained Medics, Ambulance Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, Registered General Nurses, Fire and Rescue Crew, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, ER Doctors, EMS Training Instructors, Flight Dispatch include professional two crew pilot operations, on 24 hours standby. Minimum staff experience is 5 years post graduate in the EMS, with defensive driving licenses, and additional
advanced training including:

Basic Life Support for healthcare providers (BLS)
Advanced Life Support for healthcare providers (ALS)
Advanced Trauma Life Support
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

All additional courses are internationally governed and ACE Air & Ambulance (Pvt) Ltd maintain strict protocols ensuring that all practitioners are kept current.
All practitioners are registered with the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.

Medical Equipment

Our medical equipment is regularly and thoroughly checked and calibrated, as well as updated according to International Medical Best Practice Standards and includes:

The Call Centre

We have a state-of-the art Call Centre, which has been equipped with the latest technology in ER management. We are capable of handling all emergency calls with a total crisis team consisting of 8 dispatchers, fully trained to give medical advice over the phone, to customers in need, thereby assisting in the emergency management, until an ambulance is dispatched to the scene.
There is complete accountability and recording capabilities, for precise customer service tracking.
